Obertraun:
Nestled between the majestic mountains of the Dachstein massif and the lake Hallstättersee the village Obertraun lies at 514 m above sea level and comprises about 780 inhabitants.

Opportunities in the summer:
Hiking, 2 km away from the center of the town lies the valley station of the Dachstein cable car to the Ice and Mammoth Cave and the Five Fingers viewing plattform on Krippenstein, riding, boat pier for the Hallstatt lake-tour. Public beach, tennis, mountain biking, nordic walking, climbing aso.

The Jutel Obertraun is located on the eastern shore of lake Hallstatt in the village part Winkl in the immediate vicinity of the Federal Sports School, only 1.7 km from the cable car to the Krippenstein.  Distance from the train station to the Jutel is 1,5 km .

Facilities:
Table tennis rooms, a fun court, playground, offering aerobics and swimming pools nearby, six lounges, TV, VCR, slide and overhead projector for evening programs.
